Treasurer
Melissa Grant
Over 6 years ago I embarked on my career in the disability sector as a support worker passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people with disability, after many years in the wider community service sector.
Throughout my career in disability, I have taken on multiple roles, each offering unique challenges and learning experiences. From direct care and support to program management, advocacy, community engagement and education these roles have equipped me with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of the disability community.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my current role has been having the opportunity to engage and build relationships with some amazing providers and being witness to the meaningful impact person centered supports provides for each NDIS participant.
I have always been passionate about supporting the more vulnerable and at-risk individuals in our wider community to seek and access opportunities to build capacity and live their best life. My hope is to continue to nurture and facilitate this for and with the stakeholders of our network as part of my role in the management committee.

Committee Member
Chris Padman
I am new to the disability sector, having commenced in March 25 with NDSC and have faced a steep learning curve, which continues today. Experience of decades in business development and operations management along with engineering and business studies have taught me the importance of stakeholder alignment and longer time horizons. These principals inform all my work in organisations and I will work to bring these to the RDN.

Committee Member
Jean Jensen
I started as a Senior Employment Consultant in September 2024 and have moved to working in a Business Development role since January 2025.
In both roles with Connect2Group, I have been given the opportunity to work within a strong values base where people with a disability are respected and heard.
